Introduction: Blue seal "BSRC" retard chamber plays a subsidiary role in alarm valve system, which provides a time delay in triggering alarm valve. This delay could prevent the misguide caused by unknown leakage and water hammer breakage thus improving the precision of the alarm. UL List No. EX5109.

NFPA recommend checking the system sea-sonally . The filter net is the main part that must be well maintained. It must be checked periodically and make sure to clear the deposits otherwise may affect the function of retard chamber.
